From heartfelt tributes to musical passion within Hong Kong's vibrant Indian community, to the profound honour of exhibiting alongside fellow artists in a homage to the legendary R.K. Laxman at the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, my recent journey has been a tapestry of meaningful connections and milestones. My first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, just before our departure, became a poignant farewell and a celebration of the city's profound influence on my artistic growth, culminating in the incredible experience of seeing over 23 pieces find new homes. Sharing my artistic journey and philosophy with fellow creatives in Hong Kong further enriched this period of reflection and connection. Additionally, showcasing my work, 'Service, Selflessness and Strength Personified,' at the Indian Consulate's Republic Day exhibition, selected by the Consul General, was a distinct honour. These diverse showcases represent not just my artistic achievements, but deeply personal moments of gratitude, connection, and the enduring power of art.

About Anand

Hey there! I’m Anand — a self-taught visual artist, where colours have subtly followed me through the moments of my life.
Though I come from a world of commerce, and once lived a fast-paced life of an equities trader, art was always there — a quiet companion, a passion along the side, a spark I couldn’t ignore. Around 2017–18, that spark grew brighter. I found myself drifting toward it, not with a plan, but what I can only describe as a calling. Which it truly was, what started with bottle art gradually found its way to paper, and eventually settled into my now-favourite medium: acrylic on canvas.
