We are proud collectors of two of Anand’s finest works- Shunyata and Pixelated. While his work aesthetically compliments our other collections from the likes of Paresh Maity and P. This magnificent Buddha has adorned the walls of our home for a remarkable five years. It is one of the most cherished and memorable pieces of art that completes my 'Indian home away from home' in Hong Kong.

What do you take with you when you leave a city? For me, it’s always the people.
For with them come the moments and with those come all the things, big and small, you save as treasure and carry with you to savour after your move.
Anand bid us bye with a larger than life, multitude of sunset hues, mosaic Buddha. Special for many reasons but also our very first piece of both the Masters. I call it ‘quiet the mind and the soul will speak’ for it unrolled itself to us at a time when we were in the thick of our move. It paused all the madness around and brightened us with a halo of ‘you are so loved and special’. Unmatched.
In the city of dreams, we now have our gorgeous piece framed and placed inside an enclave (in our guest bedroom) that seems to have been tailor made for this piece of art! Everybody that has stayed with us has admired and soaked in the quiet, sunny stillness that this universally appealing and timeless piece evokes.
And when Anand visited us and stayed here it felt like we’d achieved a circle of bliss with both creators in one room at ours!

There are few things in life that has draw my attention like the painting of the Indian rural man with the piercing eyes. I just had to have it hanging on my wall and give him a name so together with the very talented Artist Anand we named him Gangaram. Thank you Anand for the pleasure Gangaram brings to me each day.
