New York. The land of dreams

Continuing my exploration of iconic city skylines, I came across a striking photograph of New York City that inspired me to recreate the scene using my own techniques and colour palette.
The artwork captures an evening sky filled with rich, blended hues as the sun sets, creating a calming and reflective atmosphere. The towering skyscrapers are rendered in shades of blue and green, with splashes of red to introduce contrast and vibrancy. True to my style, I’ve incorporated deep blacks mixed with reds, blues, and greens to evoke the city's layered and dynamic essence.
Although I’ve never visited New York or the United States, I’ve heard much about the city's magnetic energy and unmatched spirit. This painting serves as a tribute to the vitality of New York and the resilience of its people—a celebration of a place that continues to inspire from afar.
