Artist Heart To Heart

As artists, our journey is one of constant evolution—of learning, unlearning, and growing through experience, exploration, and the people we meet along the way. On the 1st of June 2024, I had the incredible privilege of being invited to share my artistic journey in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, among a community of fellow creatives whose work and presence I deeply respect and admire.
The event was not only an opportunity to speak about my process and inspirations, but also a moment of reflection—on where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and how art continues to shape my understanding of the world and myself. To be able to do that in the company of likeminded friends from the artistic fraternity made the experience all the more meaningful.
I spoke about what art means to me—beyond aesthetics and technique—and how it has become a language through which I express my innermost philosophies, emotions, and thoughts. I also shared personal stories behind my works, the struggles and triumphs that have shaped them, and the deep belief that art has the power to connect us in ways words often cannot.
It was a heartfelt and inspiring exchange, and I left feeling not only seen and heard, but also more connected—to my peers, to the creative spirit of Hong Kong, and to the ever-evolving journey of being an artist.
I’m truly grateful for the opportunity, for the warmth and curiosity of everyone who attended, and for the reminder that in sharing our stories, we often find deeper meaning in our own.
