Cascading Truth

The cascading truth depicts a very calm and transcendental state of Buddha – with a cascade effect to enhance the surreal nature of the form and the theme. Vertical linear patterns flow down with each channel making subtle variations which when viewed in totality give us the Buddha form.
I have used rich shades of black and blue to anchor the darker regions of the composition—invoking depth, mystery, and introspection. These tones lend a profound stillness to the form, suggesting the internal vastness of the meditative state. Contrasting this are warm tones interwoven with streaks of gold, illuminating the canvas with a sense of divine radiance. These brighter hues do not merely add contrast—they symbolize awakening, insight, and the sacred energy of enlightenment.
The term "cascading" takes on dual meaning here: it suggests both the visual technique used and the spiritual metaphor underpinning the work.
